Frankfort, Ind. – December 21, 2023 –  Solidarity Community Federal Credit Union is proud to announce that for the convenience of its members in Clinton County and surrounding counties, a full-service Solidarity ATM is now available at 1640 West State Road 28 in Frankfort, Indiana.

At this full-service ATM, anyone can receive cash and Solidarity members can deposit up to 100 bills or 50 checks into checking or savings accounts. Receipts are available with printed images. Cash deposits are available immediately, and check deposit funds are available as governed by bank/credit union policy or account agreements.

In other news, Solidarity offers Banzai, a completely free financial educational program with materials, to teachers in the following schools: Carroll Elementary and Junior High, Clinton Central Elementary and Junior/Senior High School, Clinton Prairie Elementary School, Eastern Junior/Senior High School, Eastlawn Elementary School, Frankfort Covenant Academy, Frontier Elementary, Green Meadows Intermediate Elementary School, Kokomo High School, Meadowlawn Elementary School, North White Intermediate, Northwestern Sr. High School, Oaklawn Elementary School, Rossville Elementary School, Suncrest Elementary School, Taylor High School, Kokomo Excel Center, Tipton High School, Tri-County Intermediate School and Western High School. Solidarity was started in 1954 by Delco Electronics employees placing a quarter a week in a cigar box until they had enough saved to buy a co-worker a car. Moving forward, those employees started a not-for-profit cooperative called a “credit union.” The board is accountable to its members.
