Solidarity respects the privacy of our members. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard member information when visiting our site at and our Mobile Apps including any other media form, media channel, mobile website, or mobile application related or connected there to Solidarity.  Members are encouraged to periodically review the posted Privacy Policy to stay informed of updates and will be deemed to have been made aware of, be subject to, and be deemed to have accepted the changes in any revised Privacy Policy by the continued use of the Site after the date such revised Privacy Policy is posted.

COLLECTION OF INFORMATION

Information may be collected in a variety of ways and may include:

  • Personal Data – Name, email address, telephone number, demographic information, such as your age, gender, hometown, and interests, voluntarily given when registering to receive Marketing & Informative eMails, or when using the Solidarity Mobile App and choosing to participate in various activities related to Solidarity including but not limited to online chat, message boards, subscriptions to newsletters or promotional emails. The member is not obligated to provide personal information of any kind. If the member unsubscribes from email notifications or stops text push notifications, they must reregister online before marketing emails or texts will be sent to them.
  • Derivative Data Information servers automatically collect when the website is accessed;

IP address, browser type, operating system, access times, and pages viewed directly before and after accessing the Site SOLFCU.ORG.  The mobile application may also include device name, type, your operating system, phone number, country, likes and replies to a post, application interactions via server log files.

  • Financial Data such as payment method (credit card number, card brand, expiration date) collected by payments made, request information about services from SOLFCU.ORG.  or the Mobile App. All financial information is stored by iPay, the payment processor.
  • Facebook Permissions Solidarity’s Facebook, Twitter & Instagram may by default access Facebook basic account information, including name, email, gender, date of birth, current city, profile picture URL and any additional public information.
  • Data from Social Networks User information from social networking sites, such as Apple Game Center, Facebook, Google+, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, including name, social network username, location, gender, date of birth, email address, profile picture, and public data for contacts. If the mobile application is used, this information may be collected from anyone invite to use and/or join our mobile application.
  • Mobile Device Data information including device ID, model, manufacturer, and device location will be collected when the site is accessed.
  • Third-Party Data information such as personal information or network friends may be collected if the account is connected to a third party and access permission is granted
  • Data from Contests, Giveaways, and Surveys information provided when entering contests or giveaways and/or responding to surveys.

Data Collected via Mobile Application:

  • Geo-Location Information. location-based information from a mobile device
  • Mobile Device Data. mobile device ID, model and manufacturer, operating system, version information and IP address.

USE OF INFORMATION

We may share member information with our affiliates, in which case we will require those affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy. Affiliates include our parent company and any subsidiaries, joint venture partners or other companies that we control or that are under common control with us.

We may share member information with our business partners to offer you certain products, services or promotions.

If a member connects through a social network, their contacts on the social network will see their name, profile photo, and descriptions of their activity.

We may use third-party software to serve ads on the website and our mobile app, implement email marketing campaigns, and manage other interactive marketing initiatives. This third-party software may use cookies or similar tracking technology to help manage and optimize the online experience. Members may opt-out of interest-based ads  through the Network Advertising Initiative Opt-Out Tool or Digital Advertising Alliance Opt-Out Tool.

Website and Email Analytics

We may partner with selected third-party vendors such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics,
and others, to allow tracking technologies and remarketing services on the website and our mobile app through the use of first party cookies and third-party cookies, to analyze and track users’ use of the website and mobile app , determine the popularity of certain content and better understand online activity.

THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES

Our website and mobile app may contain links to third-party websites and applications of interest, including advertisements and external services, that are not affiliated with us. Once a member has used these links to leave the website or our mobile app, any information provided to these third parties is not covered by our Privacy Policy.

SECURITY OF INFORMATION

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect personal information. The extensive vendor management process is in place for all vendors to ensure to the best of our ability that our member information is protected. Critical and extreme risk vendors are monitored for security breaches and members will be notified upon confirmation of a breach.

POLICY FOR CHILDREN

We will not solicit information from or market to children under the age of 13. Any data that is collected will be immediately destroyed upon gaining knowledge of its existence.

CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

The mobile app includes a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting to signal privacy preferences. We will respond to the members setting of the DNT signal.

OPTIONS REGARDING MEMBER INFORMATION

Account Information

Members may review or change information or terminate the account by:

  • Logging into account settings and updating information.
  • Contacting us using the contact information provided
  • Sending a secure message via our website

Upon receiving the termination request the account(s) will be deactivated and deleted from any active database. Required information will be retained in our files for fraud prevention, investigation assistance, enforcement of our Terms of Use and/or to comply with legal requirements.

Emails and Communications

Members may opt out of correspondence, emails, or other communications from us by:

  • Noting their preferences when registering the account on the website or mobile app
  • Logging into the account settings and updating preferences.
  • Contacting us with the contact information provided
  • Use of “Unsubscribe” on the eMails or STOP on Text Messages

Telephone Consumer Protection Act

  • Solidarity Community Federal Credit Union does not participate in telephone solicitation, nor do we use automatic dialing systems, or prerecorded voice messages. All phone communication with our members will take place person to person and for business purposes, not for marketing communications.
